MINOR FOCUS

St Colmcilles Minor runs the junior or ‘underage’ Gaelic football teams.We currently have three teams, under 10, under 12 and under 14’s. We train every Wednesday night from 6.45pm until about 8.30pm.Tournaments are held at club and county level and we try to cover the costs by means of sponsorships from local businesses and funding. A trip to Ireland is organised each year for various competitions, including Feile Peil.

So if you are between 8 and 16 and want to join in, come along on Wednesdays, training and registration are free and you would be more than welcome. All we ask in return is commitment from the players and the support of the parents.

• The Presentation Night of 2007 highlighted what a successful year this was for the minor board.
• The Minor Board are curently in the process of raising funds for the upcoming minor trip to Ireland. Any sponsorship received for this would be greatly appreciated.

 

Fixtures

• There are no more games scheduled for this season. However, minor training is continuing on as planned.
